General Sales Policy and Warranty

TERMS
    Payment Due before item is shipped
PRICES
    All prices subject to change without notice. Core values will decrease or increase according to market value. No allowance given when core values change. All sales of finished products and cores considered final after 60 days.
DEFECTIVE UNITS
    Core credit will be issued only if unit is tagged and returned in its own BuyRackandPinion.com. carton. All tags should state accurate reason for return. Do not mix defective or unused merchandise with old cores.

WARRANTY STATEMENT
Warranty:   BuyRackandPinion.com. warrants that it will provide a replacement for any Rack & Pinion steering unit that fails during normal use on the vehicle on which the unit was originally installed.
            BuyRackandPinion.com. extends this warranty to the owner of the vehicle, provided the ownership of the vehicle has not changed since the installation of the unit.
            The warranty will not apply to a Rack & Pinion unit which has been damaged, misused, installed improperly or installed on a racing or high performance vehicle or a vehicle used for fleet operation. Units must be installed on the application for which they were intended.

Remedy: Should a Rack & Pinion unit ever fail during normal use, under the conditions described above, return the failed unit with proof of purchase to BuyRackandPinion.com. for free replacement. BuyRackandPinion.com. will have no obligation to pay or reimburse the owner of the vehicle for the cost of removal and returning the failed unit or installing the replacement unit.

Exclusions: The remedy set forth in this warranty is the exclusive remedy of the owner of the vehicle for all claims arising from BuyRackandPinion.com. negligence breach of legal duty, a damaged or defective Rack & Pinion steering unit or otherwise.

Limitation of Liability: To the extent allowed by law, BuyRackandPinion.com. will have no obligations to pay or reimburse the owner of the vehicle for any incidental or consequential damages arising from BuyRackandPinion.com. negligence, breach of legal duty, a damaged or defective Rack & Pinion steering unit or otherwise.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary, from state to state.

Returns

You must first request a Return Authorization Number prior to returning any item/s. We will refund or replace any defective item and most non-defective items within 30 days of receipt of your order. However, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 20% of the order, and/or charge for freight. You may return products that:

Are in their original packaging and resalable
Have the original manufacturer information
Are not used, installed, or disassembled
Are not damaged due to incorrect installation
Do not having missing parts, hardware or instructions

Core Returns
If you would like to return an item associated with a core return value, please submit your request through our Returns form. Please note:

All fluids must be drained from the core
The core must be securely wrapped in plastic and sealed
Cores must be returned in the packaging used in the shipment of the order sent to you
Your core will be inspected to determine if the core is rebuild-able
